10 ARRESTS MADE IN JEWELRY STORE BURGLARY – LOUISVILLE, KY

On 6/4/20 shortly after 1:10 a.m., seven adults and three juveniles were arrested for committing a burglary at a retail jewelry store. At the time of the crime, a sergeant from the Louisville Metro Police Department was on patrol and saw several suspicious vehicles outside the store. The sergeant then found that the store was being looted. Several suspects fled on foot and some fled in cars. When police tried to stop one of the cars on the parkway, the driver sped off and drove at speeds that reached more than 100 miles per hour. The car crashed in front of a mall. At least one of the suspects in the car was arrested after a foot chase. Several other suspects were found in the parking lot of a hotel across the street from the jewelry store.
