MANHATTAN BEACH, CA  August 28, 2024 – Seven suspects, including two minors, were convicted of robbing a fine jewelry store in Manhattan Beach, police announced Wednesday. The robbery occurred on March 22. That day, the robbery crew smashed display cases with hammers, grabbed jewelry and fled the store in awaiting vehicles.
The five adults accepted plea deals and pleaded guilty on Friday, Manhattan Beach police said. Under the bargain, the men will serve time ranging from 3 to 16 years in state prison and will receive a strike for their part in the robbery.
The adults were identified as:
Twuan Walker, 20, of Lancaster
Alan Daniels, 25, of Los Angeles
Eworth Sutherland, 24, of Los Angeles
Johndean Blocker, 24, of Los Angeles
Jamil Edwards, 25, of Los Angeles
