On 2/23/23, at approximately 5:18 p.m., two male subjects entered a jewelry store and requested to look at merchandise in a specific showcase.� They asked to see a specific brand of ring. The team member removed it from the showcase for the presentation. When putting it back in the case, subject 1 reached inside the case and removed a ring from the brand he had asked to see.� The subject secured the ring in his pocket, then requested to look at merchandise in a different showcase and left shortly after.� The team member suspected the ring was removed from the showcase.� The team member reported the incident to the store manager and an NYPD Officer outside of the store.� The Police took the report but the suspects had left the mall before they could intervene.�

Suspect 1 �” Male, Hispanic, 35 to 40-years-old, thin build, 5’9â€Â, short dark hair, some facial hair, glasses, tan puffer jacket, light-colored pants, carrying a handbag.
Suspect 2 �” Male, White, 38 to 45-years-old, medium build, 5’8â€Â, bald, beard, wearing a yarmulka, black jacket, black shirt, and pants.
