ARMED AND MASKED SUSPECTS SMASH SHOWCASES, THROW EMPLOYEES TO FLOOR

Three masked black male suspects armed with handguns ran into a jewelry store at 10:00 a.m., minutes after the security guard unlocked the door. A female sales associate was thrown to the floor, and the security guard was violently tackled. The employees were held at gunpoint, and both were taken to the basement and held with another employee as the robbers ransacked the store. The suspects fled with merchandise, and drove away in a silver Lexus SUV. If you have information, you may call the Hinsdale Police Department at 630-789-7070.
