On 7/12/17, shortly before noon, two male suspects committed a gunpoint robbery. The suspects held employees at gunpoint. One of the suspects forced an employee to the back of the store to access the safe. At that point, one of the suspects fired a single shot into the ground. Both suspects then took jewelry and fled from the store on motorcycles. Police responded as the suspects jumped onto the motorcycles. The suspects led officers on a brief chase. Officers intentionally collided with the motorcycle which caused the suspects to fall off. Both men were arrested.
