On the date listed above at approximately 1135 hours, a subject described as male black, mid 30’s, wearing a 3/4 length, dark colored jacket, brown hat, sunglasses came into Gross Jewelers in Garden City and was inquiring about a high end necklace. The subject was asking questions about the bracelet that a normal customer would not ask and appeared suspicious.
The clothing the subject was wearing did not fit the warm weather on that day. The subject left the location after approximately 15 minutes without making a purchase. Please see the photos below.
