On 3/13/18, at approximately 11:56 a.m., three subjects entered into a jewelry store. The first subject wore a West Virginia Toboggan hat; the second subject wore a black Toboggan hat and the third subject had dreadlocks. The third subject entered a minute after the first two subjects. The subjects wanted to see diamond rings and they identified two that they wanted to purchase. The subject in the West Virginia toboggan presented a Florida ID and attempted to make the purchase. Initially the transaction was declined because it was over $10,000 for one purchase.

The transaction was then split. The sale was completed on a fraudulent credit card and then that card was swiped a second time and the other half of the transaction was completed. The incurred loss was over $16,000. The three subjects were described as Black males in their early to mid-twenties. If you have any information regarding the identities of these subjects, please call the Jewelers’ Security Alliance at 212-687-0328.
