On 8/5/18, at approximately 4:30 p.m., a female subject entered a retail jewelry store and inquired about rings to replace one she had lost. The sales associate presented the subject with several rings, including a black sapphire ring which the subject said looked identical to the one she had lost. The sales associate assisted her for thirty minutes when the subject decided she would return at another time. When inventory counts were completed on the following day, the store realized the ring was no longer in the case. The female subject was described as 30 years old and White. She is 5’8” and weighs 120 pounds. She has short brown hair and was last seen wearing shorts and a t-shirt. She had tattoos on her thighs and shoulders.
