On 9/26/18, at approximately 5:22 p.m., two male subjects entered a jewelry store and inquired about solitaire diamonds. The sales associate began conversing with the men and other associates became suspicious of the subject. Multiple associates then joined the presentation. One of the subjects walked to the showcase containing watches, while his accomplice remained in the area of the diamond rings. Shortly thereafter, the subjects left the store. A sales associate discovered a showcase containing rings appeared to have been damaged and pulled away from an adjoining showcase. The police were notified and the subjects were subsequently arrested. These subjects were wanted for diamond switch thefts in Kentucky, Indiana, Ohio, New Jersey and Michigan.
