On 8/13/19, at approximately 8:33 p.m., a male subject entered a retail jewelry store and began conversing with a sales associate at the farthest point inside the store. At 8:34 p.m., a second male subject entered the store. He went immediately to the front of the store and then into the back office, which was unsecured. Once the second subject was inside the backroom, he removed a set of store keys and stole two customer repairs in an unlocked safe. While the first subject continued to engage with the sales associate, the second subject went to the bridal display case and used the stolen keys to open and remove seven rings from a locked display case. The second subject then exited the store. The first subject left shortly after. The loss was not discovered until the following day.

Both subjects were described as 6’2” Black males. The first subject wore a� baseball cap backward, along with camo cargo shorts and a tan polo shirt.
