On 7/25/20, at approximately 1:17 p.m., two female subjects entered a jewelry store and took interest in gold bracelets. They presented themselves as mother and daughter. Before the sales presentation, the mother removed a large amount of cash from her wallet to show the sales associate. During the presentation, the gold bracelet display fixture was removed from the showcase. While the daughter distracted the sales associate with questions, the mother removed a bracelet from the fixture, palmed it, and then dropped it in her wallet as she handled her cash. The store discovered the theft two days later.
The first subject was described as a White female with a light complexion. She is 5’3†and she is in her mid to late 50’s. She is stocky and has dirty blonde hair in a bun. She was last seen wearing a black and white vertically striped shirt, dark pants and sandals. She spoke with a heavy Eastern European accent and she had a large black handbag.
The second subject is a 5’4†White female. She has a light complexion and blonde hair pulled back. She was last seen wearing a long pink dress and she has a heavy accent. If you have any information regarding this theft, please contact the Jewelers’ Security Alliance at jsa2@jewelerssecurity.org.
