On 9/4/22, a team member noticed that one side of the gold tower spinner was empty. After a review of CCTV, a male subject who has been known to steal from gold spinners in the south Florida market was observed in the store at 8:05 pm on 9/3/22.� Further review showed the subject walking around the store looking at merchandise. � Team members reported that they did ask him if they could assist him with anything specific and he stated he was “just looking aroundâ€Â.� Between 8:08 p.m. and 8:14 p.m., the subject was seen standing by the spinner case and appeared to be adjusting it.
At 8:14 p.m. the subject was seen walking away from the tower and was seen walking around the store. At 8:17 p.m., the individual was seen returning to the gold tower and was seen using what appears to be a key or tool to open the tower case. During this time, the subject was seen removing items from the tower and sticking them down the front of his pants.� During this time, the team members were already assisting other guests.� These other guests are not believed to be involved. At 8:19 p.m., the subject is seen leaving the store with the items.� The subject was described as a Black male. He is 25-28 years old, and 6â€Â0 tall. He weighs 165 lbs and was last seen wearing black pants, a black t-shirt with lettering on the front, and a 2 tone dark white baseball cap.
