Durban, South Africa – On September 29, 2021, at approximately 2:32 p.m., at least 15 subjects were involved in a jewelry store robbery. The subjects shot and critically injured a security officer in the parking lot after the robbery.
The robbers fired several shots during the robbery. The security officer was shot in the abdomen after he tried to intervene in the robbery. The subjects were all armed. They ransacked display cases and loaded jewelry into what seems to be a bed sheet.
