On 3/23/20, at approximately 12:40 p.m., a subject entered a jewelry store by using a metal bar that was 3 to 4 feet long. He shattered the glass front door and used a large wire/bolt cutter to get through the scissor gate. Police were able to see the subject enter and walk into the store’s showroom by using the store’s security footage. The subject was observed looking around but he saw that all of the jewelry was removed from the showcases. The alarm sounder appeared to scare the subject. At that point, he fled from the store. The subject was described as a six-foot tall Black male with a medium build. If you have any information regarding this subject, please email the Jewelers’ Security Alliance at jsa2@jewelerssecurity.org.
