BRIDGEPORT, CT (WFSB) – When it�s all said and done, Bridgeport police expect to have three people in custody for what they described as a violent armed robbery at a jewelry store in the city.
So far, they said they arrested 38-year-old Jermaine Ogrinc on Wednesday and 32-year-old Adam Buster on March 15.
The third suspect was identified as 50-year-old Michael Stinson. Police said he is in the custody of the Department of Correction on unrelated charges. He�s expected to be arrested on Friday during a court appearance.
The incident happened on June 10, 2023. Police said three suspects, all of whom wore masks and gloves, rushed into the business and forced three employees into a back room. The suspects then pistol whipped and robbed them of personal items. One employee suffered a broken rib and another had a head injury.
The suspects got away with about $100,000 in mostly gold jewelry after they smashed open display cases and ripped merchandise off walls. They took off in a vehicle that was later recovered by detectives.
Ogrinc, who was also already in custody on unrelated charges, was charged with first-degree robbery and first-degree larceny. His bond was set at $750,000 and was arraigned on Wednesday.
Buster was arrested earlier this month at his job in Shelton. He was charged with first-degree robbery, second-degree assault, and first-degree larceny. His bond was also set at $750,000.
When Stinson is served a warrant on Friday, he�ll be charged with first-degree robbery and first-degree larceny. The charges come with a $750,000 bond.
