On 3/31/20, at approximately 2:30 a.m., Springfield Police were called to a department store for a motion alarm. When officers arrived, they observed two men trying to leave the building through the broken glass door. Officers arrested 34-year-old Deandre Robinson and 27-year-old Marlon Patterson. Offices discovered that jewelry cases inside the store were smashed. Robinson is charged with burglary and Paterson is charged with burglary, criminal damage to property over $10,000; theft over $10,000 and possession of burglary tools.
