On 10/19/20, at approximately 6:00 p.m., a male and female subject visited a retail jewelry store. The male subject requested to see gold chains. During his interaction with the sales associate, he agreed to apply for a credit application. The sales associate verified the subject’s drivers license information. The sales associate then requested to call the credit company.
As the associate was on the phone, the male subject asked a second associate to view the chain again. The second associate presented the chain. The first associate advised the male subject that the credit company was requesting additional information. The subject refused to provide the information and he was denied credit. The first associate re-engaged the subject. The male subject gave back a chain to the first sales associate. The male and female subject quickly exited. The first associate realized the chain returned back was fake.
The first subject was described as a 5’8″ White male. He is in his late 20’s to early 30’s. He was last seen wearing a light colored shirt, blue jeans and a grey messenger bag. The second subject is a 5’2″ White female. She is 130 lbs. She is in her late 20’s to early 30’s. She was last seen wearing a white tank top and she has tattoos.
