On 1/28/21, at approximately 3:15 p.m., two male subjects entered a jewelry store and began to inquire about buying 14k gold chains. The subjects were shown several pieces from the gold showcase and stated they wanted to purchase multiple pieces for friends and family. They also claimed they would be paying cash for the merchandise and flashed a large cash roll. The subjects then selected at least four gold pieces to purchase. As the sales associate was at the register keying in the jewelry, one of the subjects asked to see a bracelet to compare the weight. During the sale transaction, the subjects claimed they did not have enough money and they would return with more cash.

After the associate placed the merchandise back into the showcase, they discovered a $10k gold bracelet was missing. Both subjects are Hispanic. The first subject is approximately 50-years-old. He is heavy set and 5’6″ tall. He was last seen wearing gloves, jeans, a crossbody pack and a sweater. The second subject is 20-years-old. He is slender and 5’8″. Both subjects spoke with heavy accents and wore masks. If you have any information regarding these subjects, please email the Jewelers’ Security Alliance at jsa2@jewelerssecurity.org.
