On 7/3/22, at approximately 12:32 p.m., a jewelry store was the victim of a distraction theft.� Initially, two items were reported as missing after completing case counts.� An investigation was initiated into the mysterious disappearance of two Cuban link bracelets and after completing interviews and reviewing CCTV, a distraction theft was discovered.
A team member stood in the middle of two male customers at an open sell, side-by-side showcase.� Both males continued to ask the team member to see a few items, all of which were located on the right side of the showcase.� During the interaction, the male, identified below as “Subject 1†reached into the far left side of the showcase where the above items were located and then immediately after, concealed the items into his pocket on the right side of his shorts.� If you have any information regarding the subjects below, please contact the Jewelers’ Security Alliance at� jsa2@jewelerssecurity.org� .
