On the date listed above, the Indiana State Police arrested 27-year-old Aaron Haire. Haire stole $67,000 worth of diamonds from a jewelry store where he used to work.
Police commenced their investigation in September after they were informed that diamonds were missing from the jewelry store.
Police secured a search warrant and searched Haire’s home. They found a safe containing loose diamonds, diamond earrings, diamond rings, and bracelets.
During 2018 to 2019, Haire allegedly sold 30 diamonds from the same former employer to an out of state online diamond auction company unbeknownst to the jewelry store.
