On 7/9/19, at approximately 7:30 p.m., law enforcement was alerted to a robbery at a jewelry store. As deputies were en route to the crime scene, they received reports that the subjects fled in a red Chevrolet Impala. Law enforcement from the St. Clair County Sherriff’s Office, the Michigan State Police, and the Port Huron Police Department began looking for the vehicle.
Port Huron Police located the vehicle. After the subjects refused to stop, a chase ensued. After the vehicle stopped, three subjects got out and fled on foot, however, they were apprehended shortly thereafter. A total of four teenage subjects were arrested; three 17-year-old males and one 19-year old male. Three of the subjects allegedly smashed a glass counter at the jewelry store and then fled. � All subjects are from Detroit, MI.
