Geneva, Switzerland – On February 10, 2017, the subject featured below went to a jewelry store to pick up three pre-ordered diamonds. He requested that the diamonds be placed in a red box he had brought with him.

After the items were placed in the box, the subject sealed it with adhesive tape. He then placed it in his briefcase. He took out another red box that was already sealed. He gave this to the jeweler to put in a safe.

After the interaction, the jeweler did not hear from the ‘customer.’ The ‘customer’ was supposed to have transferred money to him. He never did. On March 13, 2017 the jeweler opened the red box in his safe. He found that the diamonds were missing.

The suspect had a Mediterranean appearance. He is approximately 60-years-old. He has graying hair and wears square glasses. He speaks Spanish and very bad Italian.
