On 6/18/20, at approximately 12:30 p.m., a male and female entered a retail jewelry store. They asked to see gold chains. After viewing a third item, the male subject attempted to clasp the chain by holding it in front of his neck, with the length of the chain behind his back. At that point, the female subject complained about the time it took for them to receive assistance. The male subject returned a chain back to the associate and said “I’m good” before the couple left the store.

The sales associate realized the weight of the chain was too heavy and the SKU tag did not match the description of the piece that was returned. A witness observed the couple leave and the male subject drop the chain from the back of his shirt. The male subject is Hispanic and he is 5’”. He weighs 200 lbs. and he is in his late 20’s. He had an earring in his right ear. The female subject is 5’4” and weighs 170 lbs. She is in her late 20’s to early 30’s. She had red short hair. If you have any information regarding these subjects, please email the Jewelers’ Security Alliance at jsa2@jewelerssecurity.org.
