On 3/15/21, at approximately 2:55 p.m., a male subject entered a jewelry store and requested to see gold chains. While the subject was conversing with the sales associate, he asked to see a particular gold chain, before he decided on a second gold chain. While the associate briefly turned to complete the transaction. He told them that he needed to get his ID. At that point, he quickly left the store. The gold chain the subject left behind was not the store’s gold chain. He had switched the real gold chain with a fake gold chain.
