On 2/15/2022, at approximately 2:00 p.m.,, a retail jewelry store was the victim of a grab and run theft.� Two subjects entered the store asking to see a diamond bracelet, then matching earrings and ultimately a matching diamond engagement ring.� One of the subjects stated he wanted to buy jewelry for his girlfriend for his proposal.� Both subjects flashed wads of cash.� The subjects did not touch the bracelet or earrings. They viewed the jewelry while the team member kept it on a counter pad, however the ring was handled by one of the subjects.� Near the register, one of the subjects asked that all three pieces be diamond tested then asked to take a picture of the jewelry. The team member kept control of the counter pad and allowed the subjects to view and take a photo.� Once the photo was taken, one subject grabbed the earrings and the ring, and the other attempted to grab the bracelet, however, the team member maintained control of the bracelet.� There were no injuries from this incident.
Both subjects Black males, 16 to 20 years old, They both have thin builds, are 5’9†and weigh 145 lbs. Both wore face masks, one wore a camouflage hoodie, black beanie, and white shoes.
