On 7/7/20, at approximately 6:05 p.m., a subject entered a jewelry store and asked to look at engagement rings for his girlfriend of 6 ½ years. He was shown a ring and then also asked to look at diamond tennis bracelets. The ring was returned to the showcase and the subject asked to see a large diamond tennis bracelet. The sales associate became uncomfortable and did not remove any tennis bracelets. The subject then asked to see the 14K white gold 7/8 cttw bridal diamond ring he previously viewed. When the sales associate removed the ring from the showcase, the subject grabbed it and then fled from the store.

The subject was described as Black, 5’10”, and having a dark complexion. He had very distinctive dry, cracked, yellow brittle nails and a tattoo on his right hand. He has a slender build and is 140 lbs. He is in his mid-twenties to early thirties. He was last seen wearing a blue and white tie-die shirt, purple Jordan hat, khaki shorts and a black face mask.
