GRAB & RUN – MEMPHIS, TN

On 4/9/16, at approximately 12:35 p.m., a suspect inquired about earrings. He was shown a set that he wanted to compare to another pair of earrings. As the sales associate pulled the second set of earrings out, the suspect grabbed them and ran from the store with both sets of earrings. The suspect was in the store a week prior to the theft and identified himself as Maurice. After the theft, he fled into a grey sedan that was driven by another individual. The suspect is described as an African American male. He is in his late 30’s, was 5’9” and weighs approximately 240 pounds. He wore a white t-shirt and cargo shorts with tennis shoes. The suspect was clean shaven and had a scruffy beard hair on his chin.
