On 9/25/17, two jewelry store customers called police and reported that the store manager would not return their Rolex after they were dropped off for repair. According to the customers, the manager; 45-year-old Sean Thomas provided numerous excuses as to why their watches were not returned. The customers gave their serial numbers to police. Police traced the watches to a pawn shop in Austin. Police recovered 10 stolen watches that customers left with Thomas for service. � The value of the recovered watches ranged from $30,000 to $150,000. Thomas will face second degree felony theft charges. He if facing a sentence between two to twenty years in prison.
