On 11/4/16, at approximately 3:45 p.m., a suspect inquired about engagement rings. The sales associate presented several items. She spoke to the suspect about purchasing in-store credit. When the sales associate turned around, the suspect grabbed several rings and fled from the store. The suspect entered a red Pontiac car with Oklahoma license plates. The suspect was in the store for approximately 15 minutes. He was described as a Black male in his late thirties. He is 5’10†and weighs 180 lbs. He has a medium build, short hair and is clean cut. He was last seen wearing denim jeans with a white t-shirt. He carried a hard hat and wore black rectangular glasses. ARMED SUSPECTS TAKE RINGS – CORONA, CA
On 10/31/16, at approximately 3:15 p.m., two suspects were shown bracelets and rings. After an employee briefly turned around, one of the suspects reached over the counter and grabbed two trays of rings. According to witnesses, one of the suspects had a gun in his back pocket. After taking the rings, both suspects fled from the store and entered a white minivan. The suspects have been identified as Deanthony Lamar Blocker and Dajuan Lee Calvin Robinson. These suspects have allegedly committed other crimes in the Southern California region. They are wanted by four different agencies; the San Bernardino County Sheriff, the Riverside County Sheriff, the Chino Police Department and the Corona Police Department. SNEAK THEFT – ST. AUGUSTINE, FL
On 11/4/16, at approximately 3:14 p.m., a suspect inquired about gold chains and wanted to compare several items. The sales associate then removed four gold chains at the same time. The associate lost track of the chains and the suspect palmed a chain and then left the store. The suspect involved has committed multiple thefts in Georgia. He is described as a 65-year-old Black male wearing a Fedora style hat. He is 5’11″ and heavy set. He has a light complexion, mustache and wore a tan suit with a brown dress shirt. ARMED ROBBERY – GULFPORT, MS
On 11/5/16, at approximately 9:35 p.m., a store manager was the victim of an armed robbery while making a deposit at the bank. As the manager pulled into a lane at the bank, she saw another vehicle in front of her. A male suspect wearing a hoodie and ski mask exited the vehicle. He pointed a gun at the manager and told her to give him the deposit bag. He grabbed the bag and fled in a white Lexus with Mississippi tags. The suspect was described as a Black male. JEWELER KILLED – MILWAUKEE, WI
On 10/31/16, at approximately 10:35 a.m., 57-year-old jeweler, Leopoldo Vela, was shot inside his store. He was shot in the chest. GRAB AND RUN – CHARLESTON, WV
On 10/30/16, at approximately 2:15 p.m., a suspect stated he was looking for a necklace to replace one that he previously purchased. He also inquired about rings. The sales associate took out a ring to show the suspect. At that point the phone rang and the sales associates turned to answer it. The suspect used this as his opportunity to take the ring. He then fled from the store. The suspect was described as a 27-year-old Black male. He is 6’0 tall and has a thin build. He wore a white shirt with stripes and jeans. BURGLARY – CHULA VISTA, CA
On 10/31/16, a suspect smashed through the front of a jewelry store. After gaining entry, he smashed display cases and stole several items. The suspect left behind a hammer he used on the cases. The suspect was described as an individual wearing a blue baseball cap and green long sleeve shirt. The suspect also wore gloves. DISTRACTION THEFT – MORGANTOWN, WV
On 10/27/16, at approximately 3:27 p.m., a male and female suspect stated they were looking for wedding gifts. The suspects decided to purchase four pieces of jewelry. They told the sales associate they needed to have the jewelry wrapped due to their religious beliefs. The suspects also stated they needed to touch the jewelry before they were wrapped. The sales associate allowed the female suspect to wrap the items. As this occurred, the male suspect told the sales associate he didn’t have enough cash and needed to get more. He said they would return to buy the items. The suspect asked the store to hold the jewelry for them. The suspects did not return. On the next day, the manager unwrapped merchandise and discovered that two bracelets were missing. Both suspects are described as Middle Eastern. The female is 30-years-old. She is 5’2†and weighs 125 lbs. She has dark brown hair and was last seen wearing a brown jacket with a scarf. The male suspect is 5’10†and weighs 225 lbs. He has black hair and a close shaved beard. He was last seen wearing a tan coat. Both suspects spoke French while they were in the store. The sales associate realized the engagement ring was not from the store. The female suspect left the store. The suspect is described as a White female. She is 5’5", has auburn hair and green eyes.
