On 5/2/18, 38-year-old Jessie Mendoza, was sentenced to 78 months in prison for committing a smash and grab robbery on September 12, 2016. Mendoza wore a “Friday the 13th” �” style hockey mask during the commission of the crime. Upon entering the store, he smashed display cases with a hammer. He then acted as a lookout while his accomplices stole jewelry from display cases.
