On 9/25/20, after midnight, officers from the Hinesville Police Department responded to a call of an alarm that went off at a jewelry store. Upon arrival, they walked around the business and looked inside the plate glass window, but they could not see that anything was wrong from their vantage point.
Employees arrived at the store at 10:00 a.m. They discovered that there was a hole in the roof and the safe was also compromised. The contents of the safe were emptied out.
