On the date listed above, three armed subjects entered a jewelry store. One of them had a long gun. The security guard, later identified as 57-year-old Norman Thomas, reportedly held his hands up to appease the robbers.
The subjects shot Thomas multiple times and killed him. The subjects then proceeded to smash display cases and stole jewelry.
