On 8/8/23, at approximately 7:53 p.m, a jewelry store experienced a smash and grab robbery.� Upon entry into the store, four subjects who were in possession of steel sledgehammers began smashing into 9 different cases that included but not limited to, bridal and gold jewelry.� As this was in progress and they were concealing the selected items into bags they were carrying, mall security intervened to disrupt the subjects’ activity.� In doing so, all subjects immediately began to flee the scene without further incident.� Suspects were seen entering a vehicle with an awaiting fifth subject/getaway driver.�
Subject Description:
5 subjects – All subjects appeared to be Hispanic Male juveniles, one of the subjects was possibly a Black male and one was a White Male.� The subjects were dressed in all black with hoodies, ski masks, gloves, and yielding sledgehammers.
