On 5/8/18, 18-year-old Terrance Kaleo Paleka was arrested for his involvement in a smash and grab robbery at a store that sells jewelry. Paleka was charged with using force to interfere with interstate commerce. On April 24, 2018, Paleka and two other men smashed display cases and stole 34 pieces of jewelry. Paleka admitted to the crime and said he knew he would be caught because his DNA was at the crime scene. Paleka left his blood at the scene. Paleka refused to identify his accomplices.
