On 1/15/19, at approximately 6:44 p.m., a male subject entered a retail jewelry store and ordered the two sales associates to get on the floor. The sales associates complied with his instructions. The subject brandished a hammer and proceeded to smash one of the diamond showcases. The subject then reached into the broken display case and stole thirty-seven diamond rings. He placed the stolen rings in a backpack. He then fled from the store. He was in the store for approximately 55 seconds. The subject is a 5’8” black male. He has a medium build. He was last seen wearing an orange hoodie, with black jogging pants, and a black mask. He also wore a black backpack and black and white tennis shoes.
