SMASH & GRAB – LAUREL, MD

On 3/15/2022, at 11:40 a.m., a male subject entered a jewelry store and proceeded to the diamond showcase. A team member asked if he needed assistance, and he stated he was looking. He then removed a hammer from a red backpack he carried into the store.� He smashed the showcase and removed multiple items from the case and fled the store on foot.� No injuries were reported. The subject is approximately 6’2″ and weighs 165 lbs. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a grey hoodie, a black mask and he was wearing gloves.
