On 3/8/21, at approximately 1:42 p.m., a subject wearing a panda mask, approached the watch and diamond showcase at a jewelry store’s lease line. He used a bat to smash the top showcase glass to gain entry. While the subject smashed the case, the sales associates moved to a secure location. The subject then fled from the store. No injuries were reported. Mall security chased after the subject and apprehended him. Police subsequently arrested the subject. He stole 10 watches and 10 diamond rings, which were recovered. The identity and description of the subject was not released.
