On 3/5/23, at approximately 1:30 p.m., a male subject entered a jewelry store and asked for help looking at diamond rings.� He spent some time in the store and the sales associate showed him several pieces.� During the presentation, pads of rings were placed on the counter for the subject to view.� While the sales associate was distracted, the subject was able to remove the two rings, concealed them in his palm, and then placed them into his pocket.� He left without purchasing any jewelry.� The theft was not discovered until counts were completed on March 6th. � The store’s security video was then observed to confirm the theft.�

Subject Description:� Black male, approximately 40 years old.� 5’7” to 5’8” with a stocky build, possibly with white facial hair/goatee.� He was last seen wearing a gray ball cap, gray shirt, and darker gray pants.� He also wore a very distinct and heavy chevron-shaped diamond necklace.
