Somerville, MA– On 11/22/2024, a lone male suspect entered a jewelry store. The suspect walked to the diamond solitaire showcase and alleged he was searching for an engagement ring. The suspect alleged his name was Albert Jones. After looking at a couple rings, the suspect requested to take a photo of the solitaire ring described above. The employee placed the ring in the countertop display pad. The suspect took possession of the ring and proceeded to take a photo. After doing so, the employee requested the ring be returned. At that point, the suspect walked towards the exit door and left with the ring. No injuries were reported. The Somerville Police were notified.
Suspect(s) Description: Male, Black, thin build, 28 to 34yrs, 5’9â€Â, short black hair, black beard, wearing a white button-down shirt, tan pants, and black Nike sneakers.
