On 12/20/19, 24-year-old Jesse Slade, was sentenced to life in prison for stabbing and killing 42-year-old jewelry store manager, Noah Ashene. Ashene held his 20-month old son while he was stabbed. Slade robbed the jewelry store on 2/16/17. He ordered Ashene to kneel on the ground. Slade then stole jewelry from the display case and cash register. Slade proceeded to stab Ashene 15 times in his neck and back.� Slade claimed he had done mechanic-work on Ashene’s car and he feared Ashene would recognize him.
