On 3/30/17, at approximately 4:26 p.m., two suspects, armed with sledge hammers committed a smash and grab robbery. The suspects smashed display cases, removed jewelry and then fled. The suspects drove off in a BMW 6 Series Blue Convertible. Both suspects are 5’10” and wore hoodies. They also wore face masks and dark boots. On 3/29/17, at approximately 6:25 p.m., a suspect asked to see solitaire rings. During the presentation the suspect held one solitaire and the sales associate held another. The suspect reached over the counter and grabbed the second ring. He then fled from the store. The suspect was described as a Black male in his late 40’s. He is 5’10’ tall and weighs 190 pounds. He has a medium build, bald head, and scabs on his head. He also has cracked dry hands. He stated his first name was Michael. On 3/24/17, at approximately 7:30 p.m., a suspect pointed a gun at a sales associates. He held a plastic bag in another hand. The suspect forced an associate to put merchandise into his bag. He then fled from the store. The suspect was described as 5’6” light skinned and Hispanic. He was last seen wearing blue jeans with a light gray long sleeve shirt, and a black baseball cap with the words security written on it. On 3/24/17, at approximately 3:58 p.m., a suspect stated he was looking for a anniversary ring and necklace for his girlfriend. The associate showed him merchandise. The suspect examined an item and then returned it to the associate. He then asked to see it a second time. Once the ring was in his possession, he fled from the store. The suspect is a Black male in his mid 30’s. He is 6 feet tall and approximately 180 pounds. He wore a black polo shirt, blue pants and red and white loafers.
