On March 17, 2017 at approximately 10:00 a.m., three to four suspects committed a gunpoint robbery of a jewelry store. The suspects stole high-end watches and loose diamonds. Employees were knocked to the ground and hit in the head. The suspects were described as black males. They fled from the store in a Lexus SUV. On 3/5/17, at approximately 4:24 p.m., a suspect inquired about high-end watches. When the suspect placed it on his wrist, he fled from the store. The suspect is a Black male. He is 6’2†and weighs 210 pounds. He has a full beard. He was last seen wearing a hoodie, black jeans, and a black skull cap. He also wore a black watch with black and gray tennis shoes. New York, NY – On March 13, 2016 the Jewelers’ Security Alliance released their 2016 statistics on U.S. jewelry crime.
GRAB & RUN – TOLEDO, OH
On 3/14/17, at approximately 6:00 p.m., a suspect asked to look at men’s rings. The sales associate handed the suspect a ring. At that point, a second suspect came into the store and grabbed the ring from the first suspect’s hands. Both suspects then fled from the store. Both suspects are black women in their early 20’s. One female is 5’10†tall and had blood shot eyes. She was last seen wearing a long skirt with white leggings and white tennis shoes. The second female is 5’9†and thin. She was last seen wearing a black outfit and black hoodie with a red Adidas logo. Geneva, Switzerland – On February 10, 2017, the suspect featured went to a jewelry store to pick up three pre-ordered diamonds. He ultimately took the diamonds without transferring money to the jeweler.
