GRAB & RUN – LITTLE ROCK, AR
On 2/28/17, at approximately 3:15 p.m., two male suspects inquired about men’s diamond rings. One of the suspects flashed a large amount of cash. He stated that he wanted to buy a ring. He was shown a ring, tried it on and said he would buy it. As the sales associate was preparing to process the sale, the suspect asked to try the ring on again. Once the ring was in his possession, both suspects fled from the store. The men fled in a grey BMW with an Arkansas license plate: 308-VBY. Both suspects are described as Black males. One suspect is 5’9†tall and weighs 140 pounds. He has a thin build and was clean shaven. He was last seen wearing a red shirt with dark saggy pants. He also wore a white leather belt and tennis shoes. The second suspect is 5’8†tall and weighs 150 pounds. He has an average build and was last seen wearing a grey shirt with dark jeans. On 2/28/17, at approximately 12:50 p.m., a suspect inquired about men’s watches. He was shown a watch and stated it was too flashy. He was then shown another watch. He placed it around his wrist� and then fled from the store. The suspect was described as a White Male in his early 20’s. He is 5’8†tall and has an athletic build. He was last seen wearing gym shorts and a green t-shirt with a baseball cap. The cap had a floral print. GRAB AND RUN – CORPUS CHRISTI, TX
On 2/26/17, at approximately 12:45 p.m., a female suspect inquired about a gold rope chain and a herringbone chain. After the items were presented to the suspect, she put the two chains on and stated she was going to make a purchase, but needed to call her boyfriend. After the sales associate offered to help take the chains off, the suspect said “nah,thanks for the free chains though†and fled from the store. The suspect was described as a 20-year-old Hispanic woman. She wore black tights with a black shirt and black jacket with a red rose on the right side. She also wore a gold rope chain with a dolphin pendant. She had faded burgundy hair. Armed Robbers Flee on Motorcycles
Barcelona, Spain – On February 23, 2017 four men committed a gunpoint smash and grab robbery and fled on motorcycles.
DISTRACTION – PITTSBURGH, PA
On 2/22/17, at approximately 7:00 p.m., two female suspects committed a distraction theft. The suspects asked to see gold chains. They also asked the associate to see several different items. The sales associate removed several pieces at the same time. This gave the suspects the opportunity to confuse the associate and conceal items. � The suspects also produced a large amount of cash to distract the associate. They asked him to count the money. The associate refused to count the money and the suspects then left the store. The theft was not discovered until the following day. The thieves were described as European. One woman is in her 60’s and has a dark complexion. The second suspect is in her 30’s. Both are heavy set and wore black clothing. One suspect wore a black baseball hat and another wore a purple and black hair bun; she also had freckles and a gold tooth. SNEAK THEFT – DICKSON CITY, PA
On 2/21/17, at approximately 7:15 p.m., a female suspect inquired about purchasing a cocktail ring. The suspect stated she wanted her sapphire ring to shine like a diamond, however, she said that she could not afford a diamond. The suspect was shown a ring and held it in her possession. The sales associate observed the suspect cupping her hand. The suspect put her sapphire ring back on and her other hand in her pocket. The suspect stated she would call the store later to inquire about pricing. She then left the store. The theft was not discovered until after the suspect left. The suspect was described as a 40-year-old female. She is 4’11 and weighs approximately 160 pounds. She has short brown hair and was last seen wearing jeans and a black jacket. DISTRACTION THEFT – DALLAS, TX
On 2/10/17, at approximately 6:13 p.m., two suspects requested to see gold chains and diamonds. The male suspect flashed a large stack of cash and told the sales associate he wanted a mounting to go with a diamond. As the sales associate performed the presentation, the suspects had four to five diamonds in their possession. The suspects then left. The theft was not discovered until the following morning. The male suspect appeared to be Hispanic and in his late 40’s. He is heavy set. The female appears to be Hispanic and is in her late 30’s. She is also heavy set. On 2/8/17, at approximately 7:02 p.m., two suspects examined items in a store’s bridal section. The male suspect placed his jacket across the side of the display case. The female suspect distracted the sales associate and diverted his attention to the opposite side of the case. At this point, the male suspect reached into the case and took merchandise which he placed in his pocket. The suspects then left the store in an unknown vehicle. The female suspect is in her 40’s. She is 5’8†and heavy set. She was last seen wearing a blue shirt with writing on the front. She also wore blue jeans and glasses. The male suspect is also in his 40’s. He is 6’0 tall and weighs 175 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue jacket, khaki pants and a black stocking cap.
