GRAB AND RUN – BALTIMORE, MD
On 2/15/17, at approximately 2:50 p.m., two suspects entered the store. One of the suspects asked to see a diamond ring. He took the ring and then walked around the store. When he was asked to give the ring back, he said he wanted to show his friend. He then fled the store with the ring. He was described as a 25-year-old Black male. Brooklyn, NY – On February 10, 2017, suspects stormed into a jewelry store and placed bag over a female employee’s head.
SWITCH – BURLINGTON, NC
On 2/15/17, at approximately 2:16 p.m., a suspect asked to see non threaded diamond stud earrings. After receiving the item the suspect put it in his ear. He looked in the mirror and then left the store. He would do this several times. After he returned the third time, he stated that he needed to speak with his wife. After the suspect left, the sales associate discovered the earring was not real. The suspect was described as a Black male with a dark complexion. He is in his late 20’s and has a tattoo under one of his eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray zippered sweatshirt and a white baseball hat. DISTRACTION – TERRE HAUTE, IN
On 2/9/17 a family consisting of a mother, father and daughter came into the store. A sales associate showed them a box containing approximately 60 gold chains. The mother, pulled out several chains, examined them and then put them back in the box. The suspects were in the store for approximately 15 minutes before leaving. The next day the store did an audit and discovered the chains were missing. The father was described as a white male in his 40’s. He is 5’9†and has a medium build and a medium complexion. He has dark hair and gold teeth. He was last seen wearing a dark jacket and a baseball cap. The mother and daughter are both described as white and being 5’4†tall. The mother is in her 40’s and has long black hair. The daughter is approximately 17-years-old and also has black hair. She has a small build and wore a light hooded sweatshirt. GRAB AND RUN – LOUISIVLLE, KY
On 2/13/17, at approximately 12:15 p.m., a suspect stated he was looking for a gold ring and a bracelet for his wife. He looked at several items. The sales associate held a bracelet as the suspect took interest in a ring. As soon as he was given the ring, he grabbed the bracelet as well and fled from the store. The suspect was described as a Black male in his mid 30’s. He is 6 feet tall and weighs 220 pounds. He wore blue jeans and a black jacket with a black hat. DISTRACTION THEFT – BETHEL PARK, PA
On 2/11/17, at approximately 6:00 p.m., two women inquired about gold products. The suspects chose three pieces and then began counting out cash. They placed the money on top of the merchandise. The suspects asked the sales associate how much they had, the associate replied $1600. The items the suspects wanted cost $5500. The suspects then stated they did not have enough money to buy the item. When the sales associate returned the money, the suspects used this chance to conceal a bracelet. They then walked out of the store. The suspects were described as two European females. One suspect is in her 60’s and has a dark complexion. The second suspect is in her 20’s. Both women are heavy set and wore layers of multicolored clothes. They also had their hair covered with scarfs.
