DISTRACTION THEFT – LIVINGSTON, NJ

On 7/24/16, at approximately 5:30 p.m., a sales associate was assisting a female subject.At that point the phone rang and the sales associate answered it. The sales associate put a gold chain down beside the computer while she answered the phone. When the sales associate turned around to write something down, and then turned back, the chain was gone. The female subject was asked for the chain and she said she didn’t have it. The subject is described as an African American female in her late 40’s. She was last seen wearing a grey sweat suit and black shirt. She also walked with a limp. ARMED ROBBERY – LAS VEGAS, NV

On 7/21/16, at approximately 8:25 p.m., three suspects committed a gunpoint robbery of a jewelry store. They smashed showcases and stole jewelry. One suspect fired a round during the robbery, however, no one was hit. All three suspects wore ski masks. DISTRACTION THEFT – GOODLETTSVILLE, TN

On 7/18/16, at approximately 8:21 p.m., a couple went to a ring display case. The male subject took something from his pocket while his female accomplice ensured no sales associates were watching. She also did not allow anyone to speak to them and refused help when offered. After the male subject cut rings off of the display case, they left the store. The male subject was described as 30-years-old. He is 6 feet tall and weighs 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a blue t-shirt, black shorts, tennis shoes and a black hat. He also has a tattoo on his left leg. The female suspect is 30-years-old. She is 5 feet tall and weighs 180 pounds. She had brown hair that was blonde at the roots. She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt with orange on the front. She also wore black leggings with white tennis shoes. DISTRACTION THEFT – MIAMI, FL

On 7/19/16, at approximately 4:20 p.m., two females started looking at gold jewelry. At one point during the presentation both subjects had their hands in the showcase at the same time. When the subjects went to be rang up for the item they selected, one claimed they did not have enough money and would return at a later time. Shortly after the two subjects left, sales associates discovered a pair of earrings was missing. The first subject was described as an African American female in her mid 30’s. She is 5’7” and wore a black dress with polka dots. She has shoulder length hair. The second subject is an African American female in her early 40’s. She wore a green head wrap and a white jacket. GRAB AND RUN – CHATTANOOGA, TN

On 7/8/16, at approximately 1:45 p.m., a suspect stated he was getting married. The sales associate showed him an item, but the suspect said it was too plain. The suspect then asked to see a four carat ring. As soon as he was shown a four carat ring, he grabbed it and ran from the store. The suspect was described as a 25-year-old African American male. He is 5’10” tall and weighs 150 pounds. He wore a red shirt and brown jeans. He also wore a camouflage hat and had a scruffy beard. SNEAK THEFT – CHARLESTON, WV

On 6/16/16, at approximately 11:45 a.m., a female subject asked about a credit card application. She then began looking at merchandise in the cases. The sales associate went to a different part of the kiosk, and shortly after an actual customer told her that they saw a female open the spinner rack and remove items. The lock on the case was broken. The subject was described as a 27-year-old White woman. She is 5’6” and weighs 140 pounds. She has blonde hair and wore a pony tail with a white tank top. STERLING HEIGHTS, MI

On 7/14/16, five suspects committed a robbery of a jewelry store. The five suspects used two U-Haul pickup trucks in the commission of the crime. Two suspects remained outside the front door and three others rushed into the store. The suspects came into the store with sledge hammers and smashed the case five times. DISTRACTION THEFT – ORLANDO, FL

On 7/12/16, at approximately 8:42 p.m., a male and female guest stole a bracelet and chain from a jewelry store. The female suspect flashed a large amount of cash in her handbag and stated she was going to purchase eight items. The sales associate showed multiple items at the same time. This gave the suspects the opportunity to steal a chain and bracelet. The suspects are believed to have Romanian heritage. The male suspect has an olive complexion and is believed to be 30 to 35 years-old. He speaks in broken English with a heavy accent. He is 6’0. He last wore a dark shirt with letters, dark pants and sandals with a ball cap. The female suspect also has an olive complexion. She is believed to be 55-years-old and was last seen with red hair pulled back. She is 5’2. GRAB AND RUN – BLUEFIELD, WV

On 7/11/16, at approximately 6:45 p.m., two subjects were looking at necklaces at the kiosk. One subject asked to try on necklaces to see how they looked. The subject stated that he wanted to purchase the necklaces. While the sales associate began to ring up the transaction, the subjects fled with the merchandise. Both subjects were described as African American men. The first subject is tall, thin and has light skin with short hair. The second suspect is 5’8” and heavy. He has short medium dreads, dark skin and wore dark colored jean shorts. On 7/9/16, at approximately 12:55 p.m., a suspect asked to view solitaire rings. He asked several questions about the diamonds. At one point he grabbed a single ring from the sales associates and ran from the store. The suspect was described as an African American male in his early twenties. He is 5’10” and very thin. He has a short afro and short chin beard. He was last seen wearing a long sleeve green polo shirt and khaki pants.
