SNEAK THEFT – PANAMA CITY, FL

On 6/13/16, at approximately 8:45 p.m., two guests were shopping for jewelry with a sales associate. As one guest was deciding on purchasing a ring, the other guest was left unattended for approximately five minutes with a gold plated chain. When the sales associate was finished with the first guest, she turned to help the second guest. At that point she realized the second guest had left and had taken the chain. The suspect is described as an African American male. He is thin and 6’5.” He is believed to be in his late 30’s and has a slight mustache. He was last seen wearing jeans and a black shirt with red highlights to match the headphones he had on. DISTRACTION THEFT – GREENDALE, WI

On 6/11/16, at approximately 5:00 p.m., a sales associate was assisting a male and female couple. The male subject asked to see a pair of gold diamond earrings. The sales associate presented the earrings on a presentation pad. The female subject then began to inquire about bridal sets. The sales associate turned her back to calculate the price. When she turned back around, the items on the presentation pad were gone. The male subject is described as Black male in his late 20’s. He is 5’8” and weighs 300 pounds. He is dark skin and has tattoos on both arms. He wore a black baseball hat, black tank top and black cargo shorts. The female subject is Black and also in her late 20’s. She is 5’7”, dark skin and weighs 180 pounds. She wore a black tank top with a black skirt. She also had curly hair. ARMED ROBBERY – RALEIGH, NC

On 6/11/16, at approximately 9:40 pm, two employees of a jewelry store took the store’s deposit to the night drop in the mall. As the associates approached the night drop, a subject came out from a utility room and brandished a gun. He told them that he wanted money. One of the employees gave the subject the deposit and the subject ordered the two employees to flee in different directions. The subject was described as a 30-year-old White male. He is 5’11 and wore multiple layers of clothing covered by gray sweats and a dark hoodie. CHAIN SWITCH – BRONX, NY

On 6/9/16, at approximately 2:10 p.m., a couple asked to see a gold chain. While trying on the chain, the male subject switched it with one he had in his possession. The sales associate noticed the switch and questioned the subject about the switch. The male denied switching the chain. The couple then exited the store. The male subject was described as being 20-years-old and White. He last wore a long blue sleeve shirt, blue jeans and sunglasses. The white female is 5’6” and has curly blond hair. GUNPOINT SMASH AND GRAB ROBBERY – PLANTATION, FL

On 6/3/16, at approximately 2:00 p.m.,, two subjects committed a gunpoint robbery of a jewelry store. One of the subjects inquired about items inside of the display case while the second subject revealed a gun and ordered customers to the back of the store. GRAB & RUN – TULSA, OKLAHOMA

On 6/6/16, at approximately 2:20 p.m., a male subject inquired about bridal sets. He stated he had been in the store the previous week and wanted to compare different pieces before making a final purchase. The sales associate handed the subject one of the sets and held the other in her hand. At this point, the subject grabbed the set from the sales associate and fled the location. He was seen getting into a dark gray Crown Victoria. The subject was described as a African American man in his early 50’s. He is about 5’7” and weighs 160 pounds. He is bald and was last seen wearing a brown polo shirt, khaki pants and tennis shoes. SMASH AND GRAB – FRESNO, CA

On 6/4/16, two men stole tens of thousands of dollars’ worth of jewelry. The suspects were looking at jewelry in a display case. One of them then pulled out a hammer and smashed the glass. A sales associate went to the area, but was shoved away by one of the suspects. The duo then fled the store with gold rings. Employees suspect a third man may have been involved. He was likely there to distract them. He inquired about repairing a damaged cell phone screen. One of the employees chased the suspects, however, both men escaped. In total, the suspects escaped with $40,000 worth of merchandise. BURGLARY – SILVER SPRING, MD

On 5/21/16, at approximately 8:45 a.m., a man entered a department store and stole $150,000 worth of jewelry. Investigators from the Montgomery County Police say the suspect threw a rock through the store’s front glass windows. He then proceeded to smash jewelry display cases and stole merchandise.
