DISTRACTION THEFT – GRAND JUNCTION, CO

�” On 5/12/16, at approximately 6:40 p.m., two females came into a store together. One of the women expressed interest in gold chains for her husband. The sales associate removed a tray of gold chains and presented several pieces to the woman. The woman chose the items she wanted and was taken to the register. The sales associate brought pieces to the register and turned his back for a moment. At that point, one of the suspects removed the chain and bracelets. She then stated she would return with cash. Later during evening counts, sales associates realized three pieces of jewelry were missing. The first suspect is a 5’2” Hispanic Female in her mid 30’s. She is 250 pounds and has long hair dyed purple in a ponytail. She has a gold tooth and wore a black shirt with “Las Vegas” on it. She also wore dark blue jeans and dark tennis shoes. The second suspect was a Hispanic female in her mid 60’s. She is 5’0 tall, weighs 250 pounds and has dark brown hair. She also wore dark t-shirt and dark jeans. SMASH AND GRAB – LAS VEGAS, NV

On 5/19/16, at approximately 10:40 p.m., five suspects committed a violent robbery of a high end jewelry store. The suspects smashed display cases and stole a large quantity of watches. The security guard was pistol whipped and sustained wounds to the head. All five suspects fled the scene in a black Saturn vehicle. DIAMOND SWITCH – FOXBOROUGH, MA

On 5/18/16, at approximately 12:15 p.m. a couple committed a diamond switch. The couple asked for 1 carat diamond earrings. The female tried on a set and did not seem interested in the earrings. She returned them and then left the store. The sales associate then realized one of the earrings the woman returned was a fake diamond. The male suspect is white and possibly in his 30’s. He has missing and rotten teeth. He was wearing a Red Sox baseball cap, a plaid shirt and a dark jacket. His accomplice was a white woman in her late 60’s or 70’s. She had medium length white or gray hair pulled back in a bun. Both suspects fled in a white, newer model, Ford F1540 pickup truck with New Hampshire license plates stating with the numbers 400. BURGLARY – CORPUS CHRISTI, TX

On 5/16/16, approximately $500,000 in jewelry was stolen in a burglary. The suspect broke through the concrete wall in the rear of the building to gain entry. Investigators believe the suspect is an Adult male in his 30’s. He has a medium build and dark hair. He is clean shaven and wore a mask and gloves. DISTRACTION THEFT – SAN JOSE, CA

On 5/15/16, at approximately 1:00 p.m., two suspects approached the kiosk and requested to see gold chains. The female suspect became frustrated and confused the sales associate with multiple requests. During the presentation, the sales associate lost track of the items she was showing the suspects. After they had left, it was determined that one chain was unaccounted for. The first suspect is described as a female in her mid-thirties. The second suspect was a male in his mid-thirties. Both suspects are of Indian descent. The couple also had three small children with them. BURGLARY – CRYSTAL LAKE, IL

On 5/13/16, at approximately 12:28 midnight, burglars smashed out the front door to a jewelry store. They entered and then smashed two glass watch display cases. They made off with 79 watches. Investigators are looking for a person of interest that has been described as a well-dressed white male with a eastern European accent. He is 6’1” and weighs 250 pounds. He entered the store the day before the burglary, and specifically asked about the same watches that were stolen later that night. While the subject asked about watches, a younger subject with dark hair walked around the rest of the store and did not touch anything. The subjects left the store five minutes after entering. GRAB AND RUN – SIOUX FALLS, SD

On 5/4/16, at approximately 8:55 p.m., a suspect asked to see gold chains and then moved on to look at earrings; he said he was missing one of his. He first asked to see the yellow gold earrings and then another pair of earrings. Both sets were on the presentation pad. The suspect then inquired as to whether the earrings had extra long posts. As the sales associate began to answer the question the suspect grabbed both sets of earrings and ran from the mall through the exit. The suspect was described as a Hispanic or Asian male. He is 5’4” and weighs 125 pounds. He has a mole on his left cheek and a mustache. He wore a grey sweatshirt and camouflage shorts with a black baseball hat. GRAB AND RUN – SANTA ROSA, CA

On 5/7/16, at approximately 10:50 a.m., two suspects took part in a grab and run theft. The first suspect requested to see diamond earrings. After the sales associate presented items, the suspect grabbed the earrings and ran from the store. The second suspect ran as well. The first suspect was described a Hispanic Male Adult. He is in his 20’s and is 5’10.” He weighs 155 pounds. He has dark brown to black hair, a mustache and a goatee. He wore a black ball cap, black hoodie and blue jeans. The second suspect is a White male in his 20’s. He is 5’11” and weighs 160 pounds. He has a slim build and is clean shaven. He had crew cut brown hair and wore a plaid long sleeve shirt with jeans. GRAB AND RUN – ELYRIA, OHIO

On 5/4/16, at approximately 4:00 p.m., a male suspect entered the kiosk and was recognized by a sales associate who previously sold him a chain. The suspect stated that he wanted to look at larger chains. At that point the sales associate removed a rope chain from the display case. The suspect bent down and placed the chain around his neck so he could process the sale. At this time, the suspect ran from the store with the chain around his neck. The suspects was described as an African American male. He is 5’9” and has a slender build. He wore jeans, a black shirt and a white hoodie. The suspect wore black and white tennis shoes and had wavy hair. He also had slits in his eyebrows. ATTEMPTED ROBBERY – WALNUT, CA

On 5/9/16, at 4:30 p.m., three suspects wearing all black tried to hold up a jewelry store with automatic weapons. Two armed security guards were stationed outside the front door. The suspects began firing their weapons, as they ran up the stairs. The security guards returned fire. The would-be robbers then fled. No one was injured in the shooting.
