SNEAK THEFT – WILMINGTON, DE

On 4/3/2024, a subject approached a kiosk and asked to look at several items from rings to earrings. He eventually made his way over to diamond chains and asked to see several different pieces, trying them on and then returning them to the team member. During this exchange, the team member was attempting to help another guest at the same time and get a credit application approved for the subject. After about 30-40 minutes shopping around the store, the subject selected a diamond fashion chain and tried it on. The team member appears to have become distracted by another guest and failed to retrieve the chain from the subject. He eventually walked away with the chain on his neck. The chain was discovered missing the following morning during counts. Mall security provided video confirming the incident. Name, address and phone number was obtained on the guest and he was contacted by Loss Prevention.

Subject Description: White male, 22 years old, light brown hair in a crew cut. 5’10” and 200lbs ( name, address and phone number given to police).

SMASH & GRAB – WATERBURY, CT

On 4/1/2024, at approximately 4:44 p.m., three male subjects approached a jewelry kiosk in a mall and walked directly to the showcase containing gold chains, gold bracelets, and gold charms. Using hammers, the subjects smashed the showcase glass. After defeating the glass, the subjects grabbed multiple trays of merchandise and ran from the store. No injuries were reported.

Mall Security and the Waterbury Police were notified. Mall Security reported there was a fourth subject driving a car. The three subjects were dropped off at the mall entrance. The driver circled the parking lot and returned to the entrance to pick up the three subjects. The car appeared to be a silver or gray Honda. The subjects entered the mall at 4:44 p.m. and exited at 4:45 p.m. The subjects were described as three thin black males, between 18 to 25 years of age. Two were 5’10” and one was 5’9″. Each subject wore a hooded jacket, gloves, and a mask. At least one subject wore orange gloves. GRAB AND RUN – DAVENPORT, IA

On 03/27/2024, at 4:00 p.m., a male subject approached a mall’s jewelry kiosk and asked about a gold chain. After the associate took one out, he asked for another one, she handed him a gold curblink with diamonds. As soon as the subject had the chain in his hand, he turned and ran away. Davenport Police were called.

The subject was described as being a 28-year-old Black male. He is 5’6″ and weighs 140 lbs. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black pants, and black beanie. SMASH AND GRAB – NORFOLK, VA

On 03/23/24, at 5:35 p.m., a male subject walked up to a gold case at a jewelry kiosk inside of a mall. He then smashed the lower glass panel with a hammer. He reached into the hole in the glass and grabbed nine rope chains and fled on foot. He abandoned the hammer after reaching into the glass panel. The subject escaped. There were no injuries of the employees during this event.

Subject(s) Description: Black male, 6�1″, and 150 lbs. He was last seen wearing a blue disposable mask and a black hoody over a grey hat.

GRAB AND RUN – KENNEWICK, WA

On 3/17/2024, at 6:55 p.m. a male approached the jewelry store as the store team was closing for the night, carrying a large, empty bag. The subject approached a gold jewelry spinner on the countertop near the lease line, placed the bag over the gold jewelry spinner, and ran from the location with the spinner in his possession.

Subject Description: White male, late-20�s to early-30�s, approximately 6�, heavy build, wearing a black/white beanie, green hooded jacket, blue jeans, and white shoes

THEFT – VICTORVILLE, CA

On 3/14/2024, at approximately 2:15 p.m., a jewelry kiosk experienced a merchandise theft. Upon the male subject’s initial approach to the kiosk at approximately 1:45 p.m., he was accompanied with a female and children, and asked to view various rings. After the male subject applied and was declined for the company credit card and insurance, he and his companions departed.

Upon their return at approximately 2:15pm, the male subject asked to view one of the rings he previously viewed while the female companion applied for the company credit card. Soon after the male subject, who was in possession of the ring, walked around the kiosk, he departed along with the children. When the team member informed the female companion that the male had left with the ring, she immediately departed. No reported injuries. Victorville Sheriff�s Department was notified, and an investigation was initiated.

Suspect(s) Description:

Suspect � Hispanic male (light complected), approximately 24 yrs. old, 5�7″, 170 lbs., medium/shoulder length black hair, with patchy facial hair. He was last seen wearing a plain navy-blue shirt with light grey sweatpants. He was accompanied with two kids in a stroller and another minor child, who was approximately 13 years old.

Female companion � Hispanic female (lighter complected), approx. 24 yrs. 0ld, 5�3″, 175 lbs., long black hair with brown streaks going all the way down. She had a “Q with a heart” tattoo on her left thumb. She was last seen wearing plain black shirt, brown jacket, and skinny jeans.

GRAB AND RUN – MADISON, AL

On 3/13/2024, at 2:46 p.m., a retail jewelry store was the victim of a grab and run theft. A lone male entered the location under the pretense of shopping for an engagement ring. He proceeded to the bridal cases and was assisted by two team members. He claimed his budget was open and provided a phone number but was reluctant to give any personal information. He pointed to a 2ct Neil Lane lab created diamond.

Once he gained possession, the subject fled the store with the diamond ring. He was observed getting into and driving off in a black Dodge Charger. The subject was in the store for less than 2 minutes. The team members obtained a description of the subject, vehicle, and license tag for police. A report was filed with Madison Police. No injuries were reported.

Subject Description: Male, Black, medium complexion, mid to late 20�s, 5�8″, 275 lbs, black hair and groomed facial hair. He was last seen wearing a bright blue matching jumpsuit, face mask, black socks and flip flops.

GRAB AND RUN – TACOMA, WA

On 3/2/2024, at 4:20 p.m., a grab and run occurred at a retail jewelry store. An unknown male entered the location and expressed interest in gold chains. The subject requested to view a gold chain, and once it was removed from the showcase, the subject grabbed the gold chain and ran from the store. Mall Security and the Tacoma Police Department were contacted. No injuries were reported. The subject was described as a Black male. He is in his mid to late-20�s and is approximately 6�1″ � 6�2″ with a thin build. He has long black hair, a black beard, and was last seen wearing a light blue hat, a black jacket with a fur hood, black pants, and white shoes. BURGLAR ARRESTED – THOMASVILLE, NC

On 2/21/2024, at approximately 1:30 a.m. Thomasville, NC Police Officers responded to a jewelry store after hearing of a breaking and entering in progress.

The 911 call indicated that a male subject broke into the side window of a jewelry store and was observed leaving the jewelry store in a car a short time later. Responding officers eventually found the car travelling and attempted to pull it over, but the driver refused to stop.

Police chased the subject’s vehicle into the parking lot of a bank. The subject nearly struck the back of the building and again refused to surrender after an officer pulled behind the subject’s vehicles and told him to surrender.

The subject then put his car in reverse and hit the officer’s vehicle. The suspect drove until hitting a utility pole’s guy wire. At that point, the subject fled on foot. Officers arrested the subject after a brief scuffle following the subject running into a creek. The subject was identified as 44-year-old Reginald Martinez Grissom. ATTEMPTED ROBBERY – FULLERTON, CA

On 2/7/24, three masked subjects stopped a dark-colored sedan in front of a jewelry store. The subjects then exited the vehicle. Investigators believe the subjects were armed with handguns. A security guard employed by the store fired at the three subjects as they approached the store. This resulted in the subjects fleeing from the scene. Police were called to the crime scene at about 12:08 p.m. They searched the area, but the subjects escaped. No further information was provided.
