On 1/31/17, at approximately 7:30 p.m., two suspects asked to see multiple diamond rings. While the sales associate was conducting a presentation with the suspects, they interrupted by asking several questions about repairs. The sales associate had one ring on the ring pad and was in possession of a second ring. After she concluded the conversation with another associate, the suspects stated they would be right back. At that time, the associate realized a ring was missing. One suspect was described as a 30-year-old Black male. He is 5’11†and has dark skin. He was last seen wearing a black coat. SMASH AND GRAB – AVENTURA, FL
On 1/31/17, three suspects committed a smash and grab. Two of the suspects used a rock and a hammer to smash display cases. The suspects then filled bags with jewelry and fled the store on foot. All three suspects were described as Black males. Two suspects wore hoodies and gray gloves. A third suspect wore a blue bandana with a blue shirt and blue jeans. GRAB AND RUN – ORLANDO, FL
On 1/30/17, at approximately 10:07 a.m., a male suspect inquired about diamond rings. Once the suspect was handed a ring, he fled from the store. He entered a white car with no license plates and sped off. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male. He was last seen wearing a plaid button up shirt and slacks. ARMED ROBBERY – CAMARILLO, CA
On 1/27/17, at approximately 1:35 p.m., three suspect rushed into the store with hammers and smashed display cases. They managed to steal three watches during the crime and then fled into an awaiting grey van. The suspects were described as three African American males. They were all 6 feet tall and wore grey hoodies with sunglasses. One suspect wore blue jeans and the other wore black jeans. GRAB AND RUN – LITTLE ROCK, AR
On 1/25/17, at approximately 4:20 p.m., a suspect entered the store while talking on his cell phone. He asked to look at gold chains, and selected a chain and a gold cross pendant. The sales associate showed the suspect the chain with the cross. The suspect then grabbed the chain and fled. He was described as a Black male with a dark complexion. He is 5’4†and has a short afro. He was last seen wearing dark jeans. He was also wearing a black sweater with a white t-shirt and light colored cap. SMASH AND GRAB – MEMPHIS, TN
On 1/24/17, at approximately 10:22 a.m., two suspects attempted a smash and grab. The suspects approached a watch case carrying pillow cases and hammers. Both men then smashed showcases. After about 40 seconds the suspects fled without breaching the showcases. Both suspects are Black males. One suspect has a slim build and is 5’10†tall. He weighs 150 pounds and was last seen wearing a dark hoodie with white gloves and white tennis shoes. The second suspect has a slim build and is 5’9†tall. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and a black and white bandana. He also wore a dark hoodie and had tan pants. Both suspects were last seen in a grey Nissan Altima.
GUNPOINT SMASH AND GRAB – CLAYTON, MO
On 1/23/17, four armed suspects committed a smash and grab of a retail jewelry store. The suspects forced their way into the store as the guard attempted to pull the other end of the door. After gaining entry, the suspects pointed guns at employees and then used a 50 lb. statue from the store to ram display cases. The suspects escaped with 30 pieces of jewelry. GRAB AND RUN – NATIONAL CITY, CA
On 1/22/17, at approximately 6:15 p.m., the suspect looked at chains and then said he needed to leave to get his ID and wife. He returned later and said he would like to see the chain he saw earlier. After the sales associate presented the item, the suspect said he wanted to show his wife. As he said that, he looked out into the mall, in an effort to get the sales associate to look in that direction as well. He then backed away and fled from the store. The suspect is a 25-year-old Hispanic male. He is 5’6†tall and has an average build. He was last seen wearing a grey cap with a black button down shirt. On 1/18/17, at approximately 8:38 p.m., a suspect looked at several diamond rings and bracelets. He selected an anniversary band that was placed in a display pad by the sales associate. The suspect then asked to try on a gold chain. After the chain was handed to him, he picked up the band and fled from the store. The suspect was described as a Black male in his mid 20’s. He is 5’10†and weighs 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie with light brown pants. He also wore a multicolored shirt with pink sneakers and a blue baseball cap. On 1/18/17, at approximately 1:35 p.m., two suspects were involved in a theft. The first suspect asked to have his gold chains cleaned. As that occurred, a second suspect entered the store and joined the first suspect. After the first suspects chains were returned, the second suspect asked to see a high-end watch. � After the suspect gained possession of the watch, both men fled from the store. The first suspect was described as a black male in his 20’s. He is 5’10 and weighs 175 lbs. He had a gold grill and was last seen wearing a blue and grey hoodie with acid washed jeans. The second suspect is a black male in his 20’s. He is 5’10†and weighs 175 lbs. He had long dreadlocks and wore a dark blue zip-up jacket. He also wore two toned acid washed jeans.
