On 10/27/16, at approximately 3:27 p.m., a male and female suspect stated they were looking for wedding gifts. The suspects decided to purchase four pieces of jewelry. They told the sales associate they needed to have the jewelry wrapped due to their religious beliefs. The suspects also stated they needed to touch the jewelry before they were wrapped. The sales associate allowed the female suspect to wrap the items. As this occurred, the male suspect told the sales associate he didn’t have enough cash and needed to get more. He said they would return to buy the items. The suspect asked the store to hold the jewelry for them. The suspects did not return. On the next day, the manager unwrapped merchandise and discovered that two bracelets were missing. Both suspects are described as Middle Eastern. The female is 30-years-old. She is 5’2†and weighs 125 lbs. She has dark brown hair and was last seen wearing a brown jacket with a scarf. The male suspect is 5’10†and weighs 225 lbs. He has black hair and a close shaved beard. He was last seen wearing a tan coat. Both suspects spoke French while they were in the store. On 10/26/16, at approximately 8:45 p.m., a female suspect took interest in a trio bridal set. When the sales associate bent down, the suspect returned the set. The sales associate realized the engagement ring was not from the store. The female suspect left the store. The suspect is described as a White female. She is 5’5", has auburn hair and green eyes. SMASH AND GRAB – BOCA RATON, FL
On 10/25/16, at approximately 8:46 p.m., two suspects committed a smash and grab robbery. The suspects demanded all sales associates to get down. Then they used sledge hammers to smash display cases. Both suspects wore motorcycle helmets and visors. One of the suspects carried a brown leather bag and the other suspect stuffed jewelry into his pockets. The suspects also had a timing device that appeared to be counting down to two minutes. The suspects fled from the store at precisely two minutes. On 10/24/16, at approximately 5:30 pm, two suspects asked to view watches. One of the suspects asked to compare it with a second watch. The sales associate showed the watch to the suspect. The second suspect grabbed the watch and both suspects ran from the store. The first suspect is an 18-year old Black male. He has a tattoo on his wrist of an iron cross. He was last seen wearing an olive baseball cap. The second suspect is a 16-year-old Black male with short dreads. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt with a hooded jacket. GUNPOINT ROBBERY – CHARLOTTE, N.C.
On 10/22/16, two suspects committed an armed robbery and fired a round from their firearm. However, no one was hurt. The first suspect is a 6’3†Black male. He has a medium build with a light complexion and a twist style haircut. He also has a thin mustache and a goatee. The second suspect is either White or Hispanic. He was last seen wearing a black skull cap and wig, with curly black hair. He also wore white sunglasses and a dark colored hoodie with the words “Ft. Lauderdale†printed on the front. On 10/21/16, at approximately 4:53 a.m., suspects cut the power to the store via the exterior fuse box. The suspects then gained entry by prying the front door and the security gate. GILROY, CA – DISTRACTION THEFT
On 10/18/16, two female suspects entered a jewelry store carrying an infant. The suspects asked to see multiple items, including chains and rings. The sales associates brought the items to the register. The suspect then asked if the tag could be cut off the items because she wanted to put them in her own gift wrapping paper. The suspects also asked if the store accepted Euros. The store did not. The suspects then said they would go to the bank to have money converted to dollars. After the suspects left, one of the rings was discovered missing. The suspect spoke Spanish but also spoke to each other in an “unknown European language.†They also spoke English. The first suspect was described as being Eastern European. She is 5’10†and weighs 170 lbs. She has a stocky build and long dark hair pulled in a bun. The second suspect is also Eastern European. She is 5’6†and weighs 145 lbs. She is stocky and had long black hair past her shoulders. DISTRACTION THEFT – NORTH OLMSTEAD, OH
On 10/16/16, at approximately 4:00 p.m., a male and a female suspect entered the store with two children. The male suspect wanted to purchase gold chains. He said he had a budget of $15,000. The sales associate presented numerous bracelets and gold chains. The male decided on a chain and paid in cash. It was for under $400. The suspect then said he would be back later and buy $7,000 in gold chains. The suspect never returned. After inventory counts were performed, chains were found to be missing. The male suspect was described as Middle Eastern. He is 5’10 and has a thin build. He has a dark complexion and no facial hair. On 1/16/16, at approximately 1:56 p.m., a suspect inquired about rings. A second suspect entered shortly after the first and asked to see Bridal rings. Both suspects stood near the bridal showcase. After the second suspect was presented with a ring, he ran from the store. The first suspect said “I think he took the ring.†He then ran out of the store and said “Let me see where he’s at.†The first suspect was described as a Hispanic male in his late 30’s. He is 5’10†and weighs 190 pounds. He has a goatee and is bald. He is also missing a front tooth. He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap and black jeans. The second suspect was a White male in his mid 40’s. He is 5’8†and weighs 190 pounds. He has a medium build and tattoos all over his neck. Specifically, he has a large bright red rose on his neck.
